Rassegna "ViaConvento - Officina delle lingue minoritarie"
From 22 to 24 November the Sala degli Affreschi in the ex Convento dei Cappuccini of Quartu Sant'Elena will host the "Workshop of minority languages", inserted within the literary exhibition "ViaConvento".
There will be three days in which the authors will express themselves in their local language: in this first edition will be present Sardinia, Sicily, Friuli and, abroad, Asturias (Spain).
The full programme includes:
- Friday 22 November h. 17.30: Roberto Alajmo will present his literary book 'Abbecedario siciliano', with the Sardinian writer Rossana Copez. It will also be followed by the presentation of the last novel of the Palermo writer, 'Il piano inclinato'. Both edited by Sellerio.
- Saturday 24 h. 10.30: comparison with two productions from our island: Patrizia Serra will present its critical edition of 'Libellus Iudicum Turritanorum', the capital of medieval prose in Sardinian language; Gavino Balata from Alghero will present his novel ucronico in catalan language 'Soldiers Abbandonats'. Moderated by Maria Antonietta Piga and Lucia Cossu.
- Saturday 24 h. 16.30: with the addition of presenters Enrico Putzolu, will give his contribution writer Gianluca Franco from Friuli region, with his novel 'A stories sun' and the young Asturian writer of fantastic literature, already prize Ostana 2022 and Ondras 2023, Blanca Fernandez Quintana. Followed by a round table on literature and language policies with all the authors and moderators. Special guest the poet Antonio Pani from Quartu Sant'Elena. Moderates and coordinates Giusy Fanti.
- Sunday 24 h. 18.30: literary reading by and with Francesca Bellino 'The free singing of the Mediterranean star'.
