RADIO MUSEUM

The Museum will be located in the display room of the former Capuchin Convent since 21st till 30th of June

Currently the collection has over 250 specimens and radiotechnical instrumentation, of which, for reasons of space, only a part will be exhibited.

The specimens on display range in various genres, from the 1930s to the 1970s and have been restored and put into operation, recovering them sometimes from very poor conditions by Ampelio Melini, a great amateur radio enthusiast and member of A.R.I. Italian Radio Amateurs Association Quartu Sant'Elena section.

The staff lends itself to making known the evolution of this means of communication over time by making itself available for visits.
