ANTICA CASA OLLA

Campidanese courtyard house made up of various buildings, not master but service buildings such as warehouses and the oven.

All the parts constituting the complex are built with mud bricks and covered with wooden trusses and planks, with the exception of the portico which was rebuilt with reeds.

The house overlooks Via Eligio Porcu and has the appearance of a two-storey building with a length of about 20 metres, with a pavilion vault; the main façade is symmetrical and decorated, on the ground floor the openings all have the polycentric arch and the jambs in baked bricks, the wooden portal is on the left.

On the first floor the openings are framed by fired brick frames and only two overlook small balconies resting on corbels with curled volutes.

The terracotta is used both to make ornaments and to outline architectural elements, such as capitals, keystones, pilasters, base, string course and decorative frame.

The fixtures are made of wood.
