SU IDANU HOUSE
Casa Su Idanu is the headquarters of the association Su Idanu, born more than 40 years ago as a folk group passionate about everything that is tradition and culture of Sardinia.
So Sardinian dance, traditional local costumes, period clothing, jewels and accessories from times gone by but still simply wonderful in their beauty from times gone by.
Carrying on the traditions of the past has almost become a mission for this association too.
Leave to the young people of today and tomorrow the values of yesterday, perhaps healthier and in any case objectively beautiful.
Today the cultural life of Quartu Sant'Elena owes a lot to Su Idanu: as from the meaning of the word Idànu (vineyard field, plain, fertile land) it is here that many of the most beautiful manifestations and events of Quartu flourish.
