Sailing experience

The Scuola Italia in Vela (SIV) is an association based within the Marina di Capitana, municipality of Quartu Sant'Elena. Born in 2000 at the behest of Franco Ricci, Cino Ricci's son, the skipper who participated in the America’s Cup in 1982 and who in 2000 designed the Giro d'Italia in Vela, one of the most prestigious sailing events in our country.

Over the years the School has established itself as a reference point for all sailing enthusiasts from Sardinia and Italy, thanks to the contribution it has made to the organization of competitive championships and amateur races.

After a brief explanation, you will board for an excursion to the sea, where you will be taught the first rudiments of sailing.

At the end of the morning you will be the protagonists of a mini race with 4 crews in the beautiful waters of the "Golfo degli Angeli".
