Ancient trades and traditional craftsmen in the Upper Oristanese.
The volume is a review of ancient trades and traditional arts that were carried out in the Upper Oristanese territory until the middle of the last century.
A chapter has been dedicated to each one, in which the elements that characterise it are recounted with texts and images. From the raw materials to the processing techniques and the use of the finished product, from the links with the territory to its evolution over time.
The work closes with a "tasty" appendix collecting ancient recipes for the preparation of breads, cakes and typical dishes, generously shared by elderly and expert housewives from the local communities (ph. credits: Alessandro Carrus).
