A journey from the north to the south of Sardinia, from the mountains to the sea, from one century to the next of its thousand-year-old tradition.
We will explain to you and you will get to know famous dishes and other little-known ones that need to be passed down: burrida, panadas, culurgiones, frègula, macarrones, malloreddus. You will discover the tastiest meats, from lamb to pork, and ancient fish recipes, whether roasted or scàbeciu.
We move from essential preparations to incredibly elaborate ones, such as those of desserts, in which Sardinian cuisine finds its maximum expression: guefus, amaretti, pistocos, origlietas, catas.
Each recipe is enriched with suggestive insights into the ingredients and the myths and legends that accompany them.
