DESTINATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM TOURIST PORTAL

The Tourist Association of Quartu Sant'Elena is pleased to announce the birth of the new Tourist Portal with DMS (Destination Management System) platform of the city of Quartu Sant'Elena: www.quartusantelena.org

The first concrete example in Sardinia of an integrated territorial promotional-marketing system, at the service of a tourist destination.

Exclusive and immediate benefits for the Quartu Sant'Elena destination, for local tour operators and tourists.

An interactive portal that will allow tourists to plan and organize a holiday in our area through an online showcase

Through the DMS platform it will be possible to book tourist packages and / or individual services concerning not only the normal accommodation activity such as B&B or hotel rooms or entire holiday homes, but also to find a tourist guide, book an excursion or a diving experience, a lunch at a restaurant or a take-away menu with delivery service, an organized tour outside the city, rent a dinghy or a boat (with or without crew), attend a sailing course, book a tennis or golf court, reserve a sunbed with umbrella in a bathing establishment, request an airport transfer, schedule a thalassotherapy session.

A system that will also allow the purchase of local handicraft and food and wine products.

An online booking ("Book" section of the portal) divided into three main sub-categories:

- Where to sleep

- Where to eat

- What to do

A tool that connects supply and demand, where the tour operators of Quartu Sant'Elena will be able to promote their business and develop synergies with the other members of the Quartu Sant'Elena Tourist Association, creating a NETWORK.

A complete platform, with the latest generation technology and processes, finally made operational in Sardinia after the virtuous examples active in Trentino, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany and other top tourist destinations, both Italian and European.

The marketing project, strongly desired by the President Roby Matta, was carried out with the contribution of the Banco di Sardegna Foundation and with the collaboration of Martino Di Martino della Sintur (Destination Manager and Territorial Marketing expert) and with the technical support of the company Madeep srl owner of the Terra DMS platform.

The portal, currently available online in its beta-version, will be open for reservations from 1 April 2022 in time for the new tourist season.
