Duo D'altrocanto e Davide Ambrogio

A new date for the institutional review La luna sotto casa (The moon under the house), desired by the municipal administration and organised by the Association of Local Authorities for Cultural and Performing Arts Activities, which on Saturday 12 August offers another culturally stimulating concert, choosing a different genre from those proposed in previous appointments.

At 9.30 p.m. at the Ex Caserma in Via Roma, it will be possible to enjoy Davide Ambrogio & Duo D'AltroCanto: a unique opportunity to hear three outstanding protagonists of Italian, European and world oral tradition singing.

Davide Ambrogio is a singer and multi-instrumentalist from Calabria. After having won the Loano Giovani Prize with Linguamadre and having won the solo prizes Musica contro le Mafie and Ethnos Gener/Azioni 2020, he presented his debut album 'Evocazioni e Invocazioni'. In his live performances, he builds an immersive show around his voice, using lyre, pencil guitar, frame drum, zumpettana, bagpipes and live electronics. In the timbral, melodic and rhythmic research, the show tells an intimate and topical truth, capable of evoking different suggestions.
