Italian Sailing Cup

The event will see the participation of some of the best Italian sailing clubs, with crews from the most prestigious Italian clubs that will compete to earn important points for the Coppa Italia 420 and the Coppa Olimpica 470, in a competition that promises spectacle and great intensity, and that will be held in the body of water in front of the Poetto di Quartu, between the Margine Rosso and the Spiaggia di Sant’Andrea, in a position visible from land.

The event, promoted by the Polisportiva Mare Quartu, will take place at the Centro Velico Quartu, located in via S’Oru e Mari, with the free collaboration and partnership of the Consorzio Centro Velico and Porto Armando Marina di Capitana and the environmental recovery company ECON srl. Other clubs in the gulf will also be protagonists, the Lega Navale Italiana section of Cagliari and the Yacht Club Quartu S.Elena, which have signed a collaboration agreement with the Polisportiva, as technical partners.

The national regatta features the Olympic specialty 470, senior mixed doubles, and the 420, youth doubles, in the various age categories and pairings, mixed doubles, men's doubles, women's doubles U17 and U19. The event is part of a national circuit of four regattas, with the other stages of the championship scheduled in Anzio, Trieste and Riva del Garda.
