Les Italiens e i Francesi
Opening on 6 December at 11, the exhibition Les Italiens e i Francesi will be open until 2 March 2025 at the former Convent of the Capuchins in Quartu Sant'Elena.
The exhibition includes original works by some of the most prestigious artists of the Baroque who lived between 1600 and the middle of 1700, those who most of all have been able to merge the artistic traditions of Italy and France: Valerio Castello, Jean Jouvenet, François Verdier, Domenico Maria Muratori, Francesco Trevisani and Marcantonio Franceschini.
To visit: open to the public every day from 9 am to 12 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm. Guided tours are available on Saturday, in the morning at 9, 10 and 11 am and in the afternoon at 16, 17 and 18 pm, and on Sunday, by appointment; for schools also during the week, by writing to mail info@premiomarchionni.it or calling +39 340 347 3320.
