MUSICAL COMEDY THEATRE
Microband dedicates an entire show to classical music, a show full of gags and that comic madness that characterizes it, which made it known and appreciated by the public of European theaters and international festivals.
Luca Domenicali and Danilo Maggio play with the instruments, confuse them, mix them up, in a surprising and virtuous contagion; yet in so much oddity and in so much skillful confusion the songs of the great authors acquire new life and emerge magically exalted.
Chopin, Brahms, Paganini, Bizet, Rossini, Handel, Mozart, Bach, Ravel, Beethoven, Verdi and many other authors are proposed to scandalize, but also to enchant the demanding audience of the 'Classica'.
Classica for Dummies will be a pleasant surprise even for those who frame the "Classical" as a boring music and for drunkards; discover instead how it can be sparkling and fun, almost 'subversive' in the hilarious rereading offered in the show.
What the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung called «The Marx Brothers of comic music» and what the Herald Tribune inserts «in the tradition of Laurel&Hardy and Spike Jones», had a great idea to celebrate 30 years of career.
