Sciampitta 2024 - The calendar of events
Also this year the folk group "Città di Quarto" organizes "Sciampitta", the International Folklore Festival, now in its 39th edition.
It starts on June 29 in Sa Dom'e Farra with the conference "The secrets of the Sardinian jewels", to end on September 28, always in the same location and always with a conference, "Accabadora, myth and reality".
In the middle the usual explosion of colors, fun and Sardinian traditions with the Association Città di Quarto 1928, the Tamburini e Trombettieri of the Oristano Sartiglia, the Ethnic Group a Balla, the Quartu Civic School of Music ‘Luigi Rachel’, the Musical Meetings Association, Su Idanu folk group, Su Scrignu de Campidanu folk group, the Nodas Association and the Popular Music Study Centre.
Gianfranco Meloni and Peppino Patteri will partecipate.
From all the world will arrive the Folk Group of Kiparissia from Greece, the Radi Radev Group of Sofia from Bulgaria, the El Candil Group of Madrid from Spain, the Suonomar Group of Barranquilla from Colombia and, from Italy, the Folk Group La Madonnina of Messina.
