SCIENTZIA IN BIDDA Step 4

The IDeAS association in collaboration with SAT Società Astronomica Turritana and under the patronage of the Department of Physics of the University of Cagliari organizes:

Scièntzia in Bidda - on the road - STEP 4

An evening to spend entirely in the charming archaeological site of Quartu Sant'Elena: the "Nuraghe Diana". 

The events are as follows:

6pm: Guided tour of "Nuraghe Diana"
With the archaeologist Patrizia Zuncheddu (the price for adults is 5 euros, free for children)

7pm: "Traballendi a frag’e aliga"

How do we decrease CO2 from the air? is there an alternative way to use this gas? How can spirulina and aloe help fight climate change? Through anecdotes and stories, we will try to clarify these and other questions about climate change and the sustainable future.

7.30pm: Yoga and sound meditation at sunset
With Paola Tomasi, Yoga teacher and sound massage (comfortable clothing and yoga mat recommended).

+ drawing from the real by Augusto Murgia (illustrator and videomaker)

Monologue in Sardinian on the scientific and social impact of international research in Sardinia between present and future.

With Riccardo Murgia / @thesardinian_cosmologist, researcher GSSI L’Aquila, accompanied by Giampaolo Pillosu on guitar.

10pm: "S’universu aintr’e una tass’e binu"
Telescope observations and live photographs of stars, planets and the moon, under the guidance of experienced astrophysicists and astrophysicists, accompanied by "contus de scièntzia" and not only. Anecdotes and stories, in Sardinian, Italian and English, related to astronomy, the physics and the culture of the sky, the discovery of the points of contact between international science and Sardinian culture.
