New asphalts at Costa degli Angeli

On March 30, 2021 there was a meeting between the Tourist Association and the Administration.

Our delegation was made up of the undersigned as President of the tourism consortium, Mr. Fabio Sbordoni, Director of the Marina di Capitana, Dr. Elia Tedesco - CEO of the Smy Hotel group (Sighientu) and Dr. Alberto Figoni - President of the Cagliari Golf Club, all founding members of the Tourist Association of Quartu Sant'Elena.

Representing the Administration, our Mayor Dr. Graziano Milia and Eng. Aldo Vanini.
Considering the importance and tourist value of the Costa degli Angeli area with the presence of a top-level tourist port, a 4-star Resort and numerous non-hotel activities (B & Bs, Holiday Homes, etc.) I had warmly prayed to the Mayor to remedy the situation of complete abandonment of the area (between impassable roads and abandoned green areas), a crossing point for thousands of tourists every year and a cross for many residents.

Our Mayor listened to us attentively and we managed to obtain from him the promise for a concrete commitment.

Promise kept: the Serchio / Liri / Adda streets of Costa degli Angeli have been included in the next call for redevelopment of city streets scheduled for spring 2022.

An official thanks from the Tourist Association of Quartu Sant'Elena is at least a duty to the Mayor and the Council who wanted to acknowledge this request coming from one of the areas with the highest tourist potential of our coast.
