Femminas
The "Femminas" Cultural Association was born from an offshoot of the "Su Idanu" folk group, with the aim of restoring dignity to the traditions of Quartu Sant'Elena.
In the 2000s, the Association felt the need to broaden its horizons and accepted the offer of a friend who donated some clothes from the early 1900s of a Cagliari noblewoman, which had been given to her by family members of the same: at that moment a deep love for that era was born and the collection was enriched more and more with dresses, shoes, hats, handbags, fans and various accessories, some of which belonged to a fallen countess.
Thus the Association began to organize themed exhibitions, initially under the aegis of "Su Idanu", and later founding the "Femminas" group.
The first exhibition of Victorian dresses "Modas" was in 2012.
In December 2017 there were the events "Trame di Seta" and "Lollas".
In addition to period clothes and accessories, there is also space for toys, photographs and some objects.
