PROVINCIAL COMMITTEE OF CAGLIARI
The Fe.Na.L.C., National Federation of Free Circles is a historic association of clubs present throughout the national territory and which has several million members within it.
Its main objectives are integration and attention to the disabled, the elderly, young people and foreigners.
On 25/26/27 April 2022 the first meeting between the Sardinian offices took place in Sassari: the national event, called SportAbilità, lasted three days and was made possible thanks to the organizational and economic contribution of the FE.NA.L.C. national. The sports specialties proposed to the various teams of disabled athletes were: bowls, table football, five-a-side football and sports dance. The teams, from Sassari, Thiesi and FE.NA.L.C. Cagliari di Carbonia, Cagliari, Assemini and Quartu Sant'Elena have competed in various tournaments.
In July 2022 the FE.NA.L.C organized, at the Sala degli Affreschi of the Municipality of Quartu, the presentation of the book "Il cuore alto" by Mirella Santamato and dedicated an evening to the vision of the documentary "Quartu da sognare", by Salvatore Sardu.
FE.NA.L.C. actively collaborates with the cycling associations FIAB and SEGUIMI which pay particular attention to the use of bicycles suitable for the handicapped.
The President of the FE.NA.L.C. writes articles on the integration of the disabled for the magazine AICMT and participated in the conference "Information and disabilities" organized by G.I.U.L.I.A. (Italian journalists) at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Cagliari, as a speaker.
