Polifonica Quartese
Founded in 1995, the Quartese Polyphonic Choir is a mixed-staff group created on the initiative of a group of citizens of Quartu Sant'Elena who are passionate about music.
Since then he has held numerous concerts not only in his own city, but also in Cagliari, Sardinia and Italy, also participating in events abroad.
The repertoire set up by the choir includes the performance of pieces in Gregorian chant, sacred and profane polyphony, lyrical choirs, classical, modern and folkloric popular songs.
It cyclically organizes singing and music courses and every year the regional festival of polyphonic choirs "Churches and Ancient Places", with the aim of enhancing the churches and monuments of historical and architectural value in the city.
